On October 1 2019, Iraqi citizens started a series of relentless protests against the ruling political elite. They accuse them of systemic corruption and unfitness to rule the country.
Recently, the police threatened the protesters with trained dogs. One of the protesters answered by bringing a lion and threatening to let it attack both the dogs and the police.
